In essence the concept of this product is the
same as the Farbaline HV described in an
earlier page, only in a water based version. With a satin finish this is a
product which gives your woodwork that smooth polished look. Although microporous
the product repels water and prevents the ingress of moisture, unlike coloured
varnishes it is resistant to cracking, peeling and discolouration. The obvious
advantages of being water based are of course quick drying, low odour and the
ability to wash brushes directly in water. As with all water based products
the lack of flow makes it a little more difficult to achieve that perfect
finish, and the speed of drying can also be a disadvantage in very hot weather
or where a long wet edge time is required.
