Once again we have a product which is a direct
water based equivalent. This product is a timber preservative, it penetrates
into the wood to prevent rot. Although clear it can be supplied tinted to a
colour to provide a more decorative effect. Usually this type of product would
be used on sheds and fences to give long lasting colour and protection where a
harmless to plants product is required. It should be born in mind however that
water based preservatives do not have the same penetrative properties as their
solvent based counterparts, nor consequently their preservative effect. Their
colours however are long lasting and this product makes a good basecoat for Farball-HV
AQ when a completely solvent free system is required.
